Powerscourt Services Ltd

Powerscourt is an independent company with a base in the UK who is appointed to look after the interests of investors who purchase land through us. They are also the brains behind the legal structure and documentation that we use in order to comply with all related laws and regulatory agencies at every stage of the land purchase and development process.

Upon agreement to purchase the land and under instruction from the client, Powerscourt will form an LLC (Limited Liability Company) as the vehicle through which you will acquire and hold the land. Powerscourt will act as your Company’s agent, supervising the purchase of the land, ensuring you receive full information year by year, and eventually supervising the sale and the distribution of the proceeds to you and the other owners. You and the other owners retain control of the LLC, with the right, if you are dissatisfied, of appointing a different agent.

About the Chairman of Powerscourt

Powerscourt is the brainchild of Robert Van de Weyer; he was a supervisor in economics at Emmanuel College, Cambridge and was a lecturer in land economics for twenty years at Anglia Ruskin University.

His knowledge and experience is well recognized internationally; he has acted as an advisor to the Department of Transport on compensation issues related to houses located near new or expanding airports and been an advisor to a major American company on land title issues in Northern Cyprus. As well as publishing over 50 books on a wide variety of subjects he also has an extensive knowledge of both Philosophy and Law.

Robert is a Priest for the Church of England, and has had pastoral care of a parish in Cambridgeshire since 1982.
