Success of Exclusive Buenos Aires Country Club Development Leads to Release of Additional Plots

Further plots go on sale at La Providencia Golf & Country Club in Argentina, following high demand

La Providencia Golf & Country Club is Buenos Aires’s most prestigious new residential and leisure resort. The resort, which features world-class golf and polo facilities, has experienced such strong demand for its early releases of plots that the developers have decided to release a limited number of additional plots for international investment.

These have been made available to buyers exclusively through marketing agent Landcorp International.

Ailse MacFarlane, Managing Director of Landcorp, says: “The demand for La Providencia has been incredibly high, from both local professionals and families who want to make the resort home, and investors who can see the huge potential of this development.

“It’s really making a name for itself, with two of the biggest names in golf and polo endorsing its facilities. With its massive range of facilities, people can see that La Providencia is truly going rival the world’s finest country clubs.”

Facilities on site include an 18-hole PGA championship golf course and the world’s first Chino Fernández Golf Academy, as well as a Polo School and four professional standard polo fields overseen by Facundo Pieres (the world’s No. 2 polo player).

“It’s the ultimate place to live for anyone who wants to be within easy communting distance of the city but still enjoy country pursuits,” says MacFarlane.

La Providencia is located in Canning, a district of Buenos Aires identified as the ideal place to live for people looking to improve their quality of life by Argentina’s largest newspaper La Nacion

Situated in a green growth corridor adjacent to the city’s international airport, Canning is one of the most ‘up and coming’ areas in the region and is home to the most prestigious private urbanisations, as well as excellent amenities including health centres and educational institutions.

Construction of La Providencia is in full swing, with 50 homes under construction and the first residents already in situ. Meanwhile, many of the sporting facilities are also open and the resort has already played host to professional polo tournaments and a golf championship organised by the PGA.

Plots are available from US$45,000 with a contractual developer buyback offering either a 15% return per annum or a 48% return at the end of a 36 month term. Alternatively clients can complete on their plot and build a property to enjoy even higher gains.

Says MacFarlane: “With the value of plots at La Providencia rising consistently as infrastructure is installed and residents move in, it represents a great short-term investment opportunity.

“But there’s also the opportunity for investors to keep their plots and a build a home, which can be sold for even greater profit or rented for an on-going yield.

“Buenos Aires is already Argentina’s largest city, but it is expected to grow its population by 400% in the next 10 years, becoming a mega city. Demand for high quality, gated communities such as this one can only go one way.”
