Pure Resorts Parnaiba Launches Fractional Ownership

Those who dream of owning a luxurious beachfront holiday home but don’t think they can afford it could be able to make their dreams come true in 2016 thanks to the launch of a fractional ownership product. Offered by Pure Resorts Hotels & Residences, the new name in premium resorts in Northeast Brazil, the product allows the opportunity to buy a fraction of a holiday home, starting from as little as £3,998.

Pure Resorts’ flagship development, Pure Resorts Parnaiba is currently under construction on a 161-hectare site on the beautiful Pedra Do Sal beach in Parnaíba.

Says Ailse MacFarlane, Managing Director of Landcorp International, European marketing agent for the resort: “The properties on offer at Pure Resorts Parnaíba range from studio apartments through to stunning beach bungalows, so there’s something for all budgets.

“The fractional ownership allows people to purchase a fraction of the property, which entitles them to use it at set times throughout the year for the rest of their lives.”

She adds: “It offers them all the benefits of owning a holiday home without the huge initial outlay and large on going costs, because maintenance and community fees are split between all the owners.”

Owners also benefit from access to the exclusive facilities at Pure Resorts Parnaíba, which include multiple swimming pools, sports amenities and premium restaurants and bars, which they can use at special rates.

Investors have a range of purchase options, which give them either two-weeks or four-weeks in the property every year. They may also tailor their selection according to when they wish to holiday.

“The weeks don’t have to be taken all at once,” says MacFarlane. “They might choose to take one week in the low season and another during Carnival week. They can choose the weeks that best suit their holiday preferences and their budget.”

Although the dates are set, owners may swap their weeks with other fractional owners, allow friends and family to use their allocation, or place them in the rental pool to generate income.

“Fractional ownership can provide people with luxury holidays for life, but it can also represent an attractive investment,” says MacFarlane. “When you purchase a fraction, you obtain a real estate asset that can increase in value.

“The coastal areas of Northeast Brazil are already a tourism hotspot and new infrastructure looks set to push up values, so owners who want to sell in the future should be able to do so at a profit.”

What’s more, buyers who invest now will enjoy an annual return of 7.5% until the resort is completed. Holiday homes available include studios, apartments, chalets and beach bungalows with private pools, all designed by award-winning hotel architects Melvin Villarroel.
